Pack 700 Scales El Toro

Members of Pack 700′s elite mountaineering force scaled El Toro this weekend during the annual “Hike to the Top” event sponsored by the Morgan Hill Historical Society in conjunction with local Boy Scout Troop 799. Boy Scouts from the Troop prepared the way by clearing the trail, dressing in the steps, and providing guide ropes to assist the several hundred people that made their way to the top. It was an absolutely beautiful day for the event. Once on top, views all the way to downtown San Jose and beyond could be enjoyed.
