Pack 700 just completed another awesome year of our P W D! We raced 80 cars this year on an absolutely beautiful Saturday morning. 60 Scouts and 20 Family and Open Class races battled it out on 32 feet of extruded aluminum track. We had a lot of races with sub- 2.5 second runs this year, which is really fast for our track. I would like to thank my pit crew:
- Paul M. – Our most awesome MC
- Dave H. – My “wheel man” that comes out of retirement each year to help tech and inspect cars
- Laura D. – Keeper of the donuts, bagels, and coffee. Good call this year. (Even though I didn’t get a donut)
- Johnathon D. – A good scout who helped keep the start gate running smoothly and helped the young scouts get their cars onto the track.
- Kim M – Who saw a need and filled a need. Thanks Kim for jumping into the pits area and helping the boys!
- Track crew – Tom B, Everett K for helping haul in the track (that thing weighs over 100 lbs), Mike F.
- Everybody that helped with the clinic, set-up, decorations, and especially the clean up!
- And of course, all the cubs, den leaders, mom, dads, grandparents that made all those awesome cars for us to race!
